Kamin Family Scholarship - John Case Shirrell
The 2026 Kamin Family Scholarship is awarded to John Case Shirrell, a graduate of Oldham County High School. He is the son of Barrett & Rebekah Shirrell and will be attending the University of Kentucky majoring in Agricultural Economics and Public Policy and he wants to work in Agricultural Policy. Case has been very active in school and non-school activities, including being the 2025-2026 Kentucky 4-H President.
Corley Brown Scholarship - Seth Monroe
The 2026 Corley Brown Scholarship is presented to Seth Monroe, a graduate of Spencer County High School. He is the son of Nancy and Brian Monroe and will be attending the University of Kentucky majoring in Agricultural Economics and Finance. Seth plans to be a financial advisor. He has been active in FFA, serving as the President of the Spencer Co. chapter, and Reporter for the Capital City region. He’s also played soccer for several years.
Charles Keen Scholarship - Kendall Slaughter
The 2026 Charles Keen Scholarship winner is Kendall Slaughter, a graduate of Spencer County High School. She is the daughter of Craig and Leslie Slaughter. Kendall will be attending the University of Kentucky, majoring in Agricultural Education and Advocacy. She plans to teach or be involved in public policy. Kendall has been active in FFA, Pageants, and FCCLA, where she is currently the National Vice President of Development, and the first national officer of any Spencer County student organization.
